Are you passionate about helping people enjoy the great outdoors? Do you love being on the water and want to make a difference in your community? Cotswold Boatmobility is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team!
Who We Are
Cotswold Boatmobility is a unique charity that offers everyone, regardless of ability, the chance to enjoy boating activities on the Stroudwater canal near Stonehouse. With our specially adapted boats, we provide accessible boating experiences to individuals with physical, mobility, and learning disabilities of all kinds, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience the joy and freedom of being on the water.
As a volunteer, you'll be part of a friendly team, helping people of all abilities enjoy safe and accessible boating regularly each week currently on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 11am - 1 pm all year round. We are looking to start a new regular trip on Saturdays. We also do a lot of one-off trips throughout the summer. These trips may be any day or any time of day. Whether you're an experienced boater or completely new to it, we welcome your energy and enthusiasm.

What You'll Be Doing
- Providing a warm welcome and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
- Assisting our guests in and out of our specially adapted boats.
- Crewing the boats and supporting the guests during the 2 hour trip.
- Helping prepare equipment for use and clear away afterwards.
