We need funding for...

  • Boats – we have had two Katakanus donated
  • Paddles – we need more, in a variety of sizes
  • Life jackets and Buoyancy aids – we need more
  • A Wheelyboat – eventually we would like to own our own boat.
  • Other equipment – fenders, covers, lines, padlocks, first aid kits,
  • Costs of management – registration fees, licences, insurances, website etc
  • Training costs - boat management, first aid, disability awareness
  • Safe storage for boats and equipment
  • Launching and towing trailers
  • Running costs – electricity, batteries
  • Replacement costs – life jackets in particular, but all equipment over time.

We aim to be mainly free or take small donations at point of use.
See www.katakanu.co.uk  and www.wheelyboat.org
