Who are we?

• We are an independent community group aiming to make boating accessible to all, on the Cotswold Canals.
• We are a small charity recognised by HMRC for gift aided donations.
• We have small group of Trustees, and a broader base of members and supporters.

What do we do?

• We offer an opportunity for people who may have mobility or learning disability issues, the elderly and the disadvantaged to get out close to the water and participate in the fun.
  
• We are mainly boaters with a variety of backgrounds as members of the Inland Waterways Association, the Cotswold Canals Trust, the Cotswolds Canal Cruising Club and many other waterways interests.
• We also have experience of disability issues and want to create an opportunity for all to participate in water based activities on our newly restored canal.

Where are we based and when do we go out?

We are based on the Stroudwater Canal, currently mainly at Stonehouse Wharf, but also at Ryeford Wharf and at Ebley Wharf (see maps below for locations). We can access the canal at different points and aim to make it possible for everyone to access the boats.

We ask people arriving by car or minibus to park carefully and respect the needs of the local residents.

We go out as advertised on our Facebook page, or by arrangement with individuals or groups, mainly on Mondays and Wednesdays but anytime to suit including weekends and evenings in summer. We go out all year round, only stopping for cold, wet and windy weather.
